I'm Dalton. I manage projects at an energy company in Austin. Same meetings. Same deadlines. No stage, no framework to sell you.

Before this, I ran a business helping online creators grow their audience with AI. It didn't make me rich. It put me inside these tools every day for months, long before most people I worked with had opened one.

The moment it got real: a speaker at an AI conference asked the room to raise their hands based on how much they actually knew about AI. I looked around. Blank faces. A room full of people exactly like me. Almost none of them had gone past the headlines.

That's when I realized I wasn't years ahead of anyone. I was a few steps ahead. And that gap was wider than it should have been.

I didn't follow some hidden formula to get here. I used the models constantly and failed a lot before anything clicked. The one habit that actually changed how I work: a dedicated AI project for every real project I manage, loaded with that project's own reference files, so it holds the context instead of starting from zero every time.
